Two-Day Celebration of New York State Wine, Craft Beverages & Artisan Foods Expected to Bring over 7,000 Visitors to the Lake George Area

(LAKE GEORGE, N.Y.) Celebrating half a decade in operation, the 2019 Adirondack Wine & Food Festival will return to the Charles R. Wood Festival Commons in Lake George for two days of remarkable wine and food experiences on Saturday, June 29 and Sunday, June 30.

The fifth-annual, family friendly wine and food tasting event will feature a record 120+ vendors, including the finest producers of New York state wines, craft beverages, and artisan foods as well as 11 food trucks, arts & crafts and more.

This year’s festival is also expected to shatter the previous attendance record for the Charles R. Wood Festival Commons – a record set by last year’s festival, which brought more than 6,300 visitors to Lake George and had a 1.87 million economic impact on the greater Lake George area, perennially one of the state’s most popular summer tourism destinations.

About the Adirondack Wine & Food Festival

Take your taste buds on an unforgettable journey as you are introduced to over 120 New York State wineries, breweries, distilleries, cideries, artisan food vendors, food trucks and more, with the beauty of Lake George as your backdrop!

Founded by Sasha Pardy in 2014, Adirondack Festivals LLC is based out of Queensbury, New York and is the organizer of the Adirondack Wine and Food Festival.
The 5th Annual Adirondack Wine & Food Festival will be held June 29th & 30th at Charles R. Wood Festival Commons in the heart of Lake George, New York. The festival is a celebration of the amazing wines, craft beverages, artisan foods and more that New York State’s finest producers have to offer! With a tasting ticket, attendees use their souvenir wine glass to sample wines, beers, spirits, ciders and unique food products from over 120 vendors in a farmer’s market style set-up. All vendors will also be selling their products for people to take home and the Festival makes that easy by providing a Purchase Drop-Off/Pick-Up tent for attendees to utilize. Food Trucks will also be offering unique food selections at a-la-carte pricing.
The designated beneficiary of the 2019 Adirondack Wine and Food Festival is Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Southern Adirondacks – their volunteers are on hand all weekend long helping the event run smoothly and raising money through water & t-shirt sales & more. In 2018, they raised approx. $11,000 through the festival!
The Chef William Creations Culinary Tent features cooking demonstrations performed by Finger Lakes Celebrity Chef William Cornelius and special guests all weekend long. The Chef utilizes his proprietary sauces, local foods and craft beverages in his recipes, as well as providing wine pairing suggestions. Also under the Culinary Tent all weekend, local bartenders demonstrate unique Wine Cocktail recipes opposite the culinary demos, mixing new concoctions from wines and liquors available for purchase at the festival!
The Adirondack Wine & Food Festival has quickly become one of the largest Wine Festivals in New York State and is recognized as a premier event for the Lake George Region. The 2018 Festival was the biggest yet, with a record 6,376 tickets sold and an estimated $1.9 Million economic impact on the Greater Lake George Region. The fourth-annual, family-friendly wine and food spectacular, despite a weekend filled with rain, sold 8 percent more tickets than the prior. Counting festival vendors and volunteers, 6,393 passed through the gates over the course of the festival’s two days, shattering the previous attendance record for Charles R. Wood Festival Commons in the Village of Lake George. The goal for the 2019 Adirondack Wine & Food Festival is 7,250 attendees.
